Applications for the 2023 Hillary Brettell Scholarship are now open!!!!
If you are an early career educator (first 5 years of teaching) and interested in participating in this year’s History Teachers Association of Australia’s National Conference, the ACT HTA is now accepting nominations for the Hilary Brettell Scholarship. This scholarship is in honour of our late esteemed colleague and past President of the ACT History Association.
This year’s conference will be held in Canberra from the 4-6 October, 2023. The 2023 focus for the National Conference is Contested Histories – https://www.historyconference.org.au/
The ACT History Teachers Association will provided the following to FOUR early career educators:
- Registration to all 3 days of the conference, including the conference’s Gala Dinner.
- Individual Association Membership for 2024, with the expectation that recipient/s continue to support the ACT HTA the following year.
